Who are the Sonicsmiths?
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is Piano in Blue and Collision no longer available at Cinesamples?
There were a few products that Sonicsmiths developed and distributed with Cinesamples. We have made an arrangement with Cinesamples to sell these products. They are still available through Cinesamples' platform Musio, but no longer for individual sale on Cinesamples. Sonicsmiths will now support the NI Version (encoded) products and will continue to develop and support them moving forward. Please contact us if you need to upgrade Piano in Blue to the NI Player (encoded) version, there will be a small fee of $15 imposed by NI that we will have to charge for the encoded version, if you previously purchased from Cinesamples prior to Oct 2021.
Is Kontakt Dead?
In short, no. We create and maintain our libraries currently with Native Instruments and distribute through Native Access. There are many alternative samplers on the market and we will continue to explore those as options, but for now - Kontakt is our best option for distribution and playback of our libraries. As Native evolves as a company we will evolve with it.
Can I get a Refund?
We sell exclusively digital products, so unfortunately we can not offer refunds once a product is downloaded and registered.
If you have purchased a product but have not registered the serial number, please contact us for options. We are committed to being a good faith seller and will always work with you when possible.
